Prior to launching my independent writing career, I worked quite extensively in the areas of print production, special event planning, media relations, strategic planning, advertising, and direct mail campaigns. To put pen to paper (or fingers to keys), is second nature to me. I love playing with words, massaging them, making them come alive, and finding just the right combination of words to entice and imagine.
Work, for me, is less a job than it is a true experience. I have had some amazing opportunities to meet incredible people and write their stories of triumph, success, and sometimes, great sadness. Every writing project I complete impacts me tremendously, and adds in no small way to my continuing ability to write well.
