Prior to launching Krietzberg Creative Public Relations Tricia spent eight years as a
freelancer writer, which enabled her to stay involved in her career while also raising her
three beautiful children. During that time, Tricia also was named the editor of the
BellaOnline Charity Site, a position she still holds today.
Before becoming an independent consultant, Tricia served as the Director of
The Prudential Spirit of Community Awards (winner of an IABC Gold Quill Award), a
national community relations program focusing on youth volunteerism. Tricia was
responsible for strategic planning, writing and producing all collateral materials, developing and
implementing media strategies, planning and implementing an annual four-day national event, and
acting as the program spokesperson. She also approved the production of videos, public service
announcements, and a $2 million advertising campaign.
Prior to her success with Prudential, Tricia was the Assistant Director of Corporate Communications for
Jersey Shore Medical Center. There, she spent six years managing the public relations activities for a
variety of departments, particularly the Cancer Center, Emergency Department, and Substance Abuse
Counseling Services. She created and implemented both internal and external special events and
wrote numerous feature articles, brochures, annual reports, handbooks, press materials, educational
literature and video scripts.
Tricia’s career began at Ketchum Public Relations in New York where she sharpened her skills for
clients such as Schering Plough, National Geographic Television and Budget Rent-A-Car. She wrote
press kits for various campaigns, developed strong relationships with reporters at national general
interest and trade publications, and managed both the booking and the in-person coordination of
several cross-country media tours.
Tricia received her accreditation in public relations (APR) from The Public Relations Society of America
in 1995, and served as the President of the Jersey Shore Public Relations and Advertising
Association in 1997. Shegraduated Magna Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Arts degree in public
relations from Glassboro State College.
In an effort to use her skills for the benefit of others, Tricia volunteers her time in numerous ways. Along
with her children, she created a program called “Birthday Buddies,” which provides a complete birthday
celebration for homeless children. She has also provided pro-bono marketing assistance for a local
homeless shelter, volunteers as a Girl Scout leader, and is an active PTA volunteer.
